The Main House
Set behind the gîte complex, the main house is a spacious, character-filled family home that has served as the heart of the property. With around 400 m² of living space, it offers seven bedrooms and plenty of room for day-to-day living as well as hosting. It’s well suited to family life, with a generous kitchen, large lounge, and flexible spaces that could be used as offices, hobby rooms, or extra guest accommodation. We have recently installed 9kWh solar panels on the roof which have provided half of our electricity usage. The installation was carried out in January 2025 by EDF Solar Solutions and has a 25 year transferable guarantee. The main house, or “maison principale” was, itself, originally three gîtes and it would be easy to convert a third of it back into rental accommodation.
Attached to the main house is La Petite Maison – a fully self-contained two-bedroom gîte that sleeps up to five people. It’s ideal for extended family, visiting friends, or as an additional rental unit. Whether used privately or as part of the wider business offering, this combination of main residence and added guest space offers lots of possibilities for both lifestyle and income.
